Plan a Company Volunteer Day
Company park cleanups not only foster team bonding and camaraderie but also demonstrate a commitment to environmental stewardship, creating a positive impact on the local community while enjoying the outdoors together!
The Denver Park Trust offers flexible, hands-on volunteer opportunities to help local companies build stronger teams and make an impact on the communities they serve.
Volunteer events can be tailored to your company, including the location, time, date, and volunteer activities (subject to availability and park needs). Limited educational opportunities, such as a tour of the City Park Greenhouse and presentations on various park-related and environmental topics, are available upon request.
For company volunteer experiences, we suggest a minimum donation of $1,000. Your generous donation helps cover the cost of maintaining and restocking equipment, staff time, and furthering our mission of enhancing and expanding parks across Denver. How it works:
- Submit the form below.
- A Denver Park Trust staff member will follow up with you to coordinate the time, location, park, and volunteer activities.
- We will provide a volunteer waiver and details to share with your volunteers, such as the meeting location, parking, and how to prepare. Volunteers must sign the waiver to participate.

- Necessary tools, materials, and equipment

Volunteering FAQ
Have far in advance should we schedule our event?
Please submit your volunteer request at least 2 weeks before your preferred cleanup date.
How many volunteers can participate?
We request a minimum of 5 volunteers and can accommodate up to 500.
For volunteer events with more than 50 volunteers, we request at least 6 weeks notice and a greater financial contribution. Please submit the form below or email info@denverparktrust.org to coordinate the details of your event.
What parks are available for volunteer events?
Any park within the City and County of Denver is available for park cleanups, subject to schedule and park needs. Find a park here or submit the form below to discuss options with a Denver Park Trust staff member.
What volunteer activities are available?
Volunteer activities will depend on the season and park needs. Common volunteer activities include:
- Picking up trash and debris
- Spreading mulch or gravel
- Planting flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Painting railings, benches, and tables
Who can volunteer?
We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities! Volunteer activities can be adapted as needed, and family members, including children of any age, are invited to join us. Please, no pets.
Is there a cost to volunteer?
