Park Projects
The Denver Park Trust selects park projects that connect directly to the City of Denver’s goals and Denver Parks and Recreation’s priorities. Rooted in the Comprehensive Plan 2040 and Game Plan for a Healthy City, our projects reflect our shared commitment to creating vibrant, sustainable parks for everyone in Denver.
Featured Initiative: New Park in Globeville
In a neighborhood surrounded by highways to the west and north, a busy industrial street to the east, and railroad tracks to the south, residents have lived for decades without access to a public park. The Denver Park Trust joined the City in purchasing a 1-acre lot, which will become a space for residents to recreate, connect with neighbors, and find peace in nature.
