Our Work
We are a city-wide fundraising organization for Denver’s park system, building relationships with individuals, foundations, and local businesses to support transformative park projects. The Denver Park Trust takes an equitable approach to park access and amenities, centering the people who use parks and creating spaces that reflect each neighborhood’s distinct character and needs.
New Parks
We believe every resident, in every neighborhood, deserves access to exceptional parks, trails, and recreation. Through our Park Fund, powered by ten percent of every general donation, we help Denver Parks and Recreation acquire land to build parks where they’re needed most.
Park Enhancements
We support Denver Parks and Recreation by fundraising for large-scale park enhancement projects, including playgrounds, trails, skateparks, and other park amenities that keep communities active and healthy.
Community Grants
We fund community-led park initiatives by providing grants for small-scale, high-impact projects up to $5,000 in historically under-resourced areas of the city.
Resiliency & Stewardship
Through fundraising and volunteer assistance, we strengthen Denver’s natural environment by supporting sustainable park projects that improve biodiversity, reduce water consumption, and combat climate change.
