Play Path Painting
We need your help to paint the Play Path! Join the Denver Park Trust, be well Health and Wellness Initiative, Denver Parks and Recreation, John H. Amesse Elementary School staff, and fellow community members to help paint the Play Path on August 24th and 25th.
Thank you for volunteering to paint Denver’s first Play Path! This innovative park feature will include a painted rainbow trail that encourages users to engage in playful exercises, promoting both physical activity and creativity.
Two-hour volunteer shifts are available from 8:00am – 2:00pm on August 24th and 25th. The Community Celebration will take place in conjunction with volunteers shifts on Saturday, August 24th from 10:00am – 1:00pm. The celebration will include music, games, lunch and refreshments for volunteers!
- All ages and abilities welcome.
- Drinks and snacks provided to all volunteers.
- Children and families are welcome. Minors do not need to sign the waiver to participate.

Please submit the waiver below to participate in the Play Path community painting day.
You should bring:
- Water
- Closed-toed shoes
- Sunscreen
We will provide:
- All materials and equipment
- On-site assistance and volunteer direction
- Lunch
- Drinks and snacks
- Music, Games, and Fun!
